Annual subscriptions to the club are due on January 1st each year and the AGM is held in October.

Please note that we usually have a waiting list for agility - like many other clubs in our area.

Background information
Training sessions are taken by guest trainers and experienced club members who regularly attend training courses in order to keep up to date with modern training methods. Most trainers hold recognised training qualifications from  Agility Club and/or Agility 1st after successfully completing those training courses.

Library & Shop
The Club maintains a small library of training books and videos and some equipment, available on free loan to members.  Tea and coffee are freely available to enable members to take a break and get to know each other.  A variety of sports clothing, embroidered with the club badge, is available for the more fashion conscious member to purchase.

WDTC organise a large 2 day agility show every year at Newbury showground. This show has about 11 rings running each day and attracts over 7400 entries. The income from the show pays for new equipment and guest trainers. A show this size needs lots of helpers so we would hope all our members would help at our show.

We take part in a winter league series, competing against other local clubs, and we encourage all our members to take part in this as soon as they are ready to compete.

Several evenings a year we hold special 'course nights' to give less experienced handlers and dogs course practice.

Demonstrations of Dog Agility at local Events
WDTC will organise demonstrations of agility at local events when this does not clash with other agility shows we are attending. For this we do charge the organisers of the event as this covers maintaining and servicing of our trailer, which is essential for these events.
